Chuck Chitwood has taught history and humanities in higher education for twenty years. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, especially the 150 mile Breakaway to the Beach bike ride to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He also enjoys traveling to the beach, mountains, and Walt Disney World.
His favorite places, Israel and Colombia, take a central focus in the first book in his Young Adult Adventure series, The Haddie Green Chronicles: Skull of the Zipa.
He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife of 18 years, three kids, two cats and one dog.
